The Make Me Suffer Meme

No matter how talented we are, we've all got things we're miserable at. And usually we don't write/draw these things, because we're miserable at them, but delusions of competence are for losers, right? Here's your chance to ask me for something I'd never produce if I had any sense at all.

1) Request something I'm terrible at and usually avoid at all costs! You may get a doodle, a drabble, a whole fic, or a sixteen part saga full of sturm und drang: how MUCH I suffer is up to me.

2) Fair's fair--post this same offer on your journal, and get ready to gnash your teeth and rend your garments! Make sure to include a list of things you're terrible at (perhaps you've hidden your fail well!), AND (this is important!) a list of things you REALLY don't want to write. Making me suffer is one thing--making me rage is something else.

Things I am bad at: Um, romance, maybe? Sort of. I guess. It doesn't come up very often in my writing beyond hints. I used to think I was pretty awful at humor, but a humorfic I've been working on has since changed my mind somewhat. I also generally try to avoid writing action because I feel I suck at it. Writing for fandoms/characters I don't know, but that's kind of a given. But feel free to also turn this into a general "I want you to write something for this prompt" meme if what you'd like to see isn't specified here.

Things I "no, really" won't write: Smut (or anything approaching it, including "fade to black" situations), yuri, um... I guess this might fit under smut, but guro really squicks me. Let's avoid pregnancy, too, just 'cause.

I reserve the right to update the lists if I remember something else.

Preferred fandoms are... well, if you know I know it, it's fair game. If you're not sure whether I know it, ask to be sure.
